To Sandy and Carol, my daughter was diagnosed with FHC in July 2007just after turning 19years old. She had liver resection, but affected lymph nodes, and several other organs had to be left because it had spread too much. After a week long hospital stay four weeks ago, her oncologist told her she had weeks to months left. Rather broad, but she has been failing ever since. I received a card from a friend yesterday and I must share it with you: "Is there such a thing as false hope? NEVER. Throughout these difficult weeks and unknown outcome never lose your sense of hope. Affirm only what is favorable and call upon Heaven. We live in the world we build with our thoughts--stay positive and expect a miracle." I know miracles are rare, but they do happen. And no one deserves a miracle anymore than our kids fighting this horrible disease. We will never give up hope for our daughter and I won't for your kids either. Sandy, I'm so glad your daughter saw her wedding day. My daughter hoped to have a child one day. Just another reason to not give up hope. Stay strong. Teresa
